Dear all,
Can I run a node in the server also. to be specific, I am having 8 machines of
identical configuration. to have a 8 node cluster should I have 9 machines physically?
What special tweaking is required for this ?
Cheers,
Vinod

cluster?
I think that should work fine. The only caveat with versions prior to 1.3
is that some post_install scripts may need tweaking to work
successfully. If you run a
qmgr -c "delete queue workq"
before running the "Complete Cluster Setup" step, then I know it at least
eliminates a failure within the PBS post_install. Once again, this is only
in versions prior to 1.3.
