Hi,
when we try to test our cluster (1.4b4 on RH 7.3)) we get this far
Enter the number of client nodes: 1
Enter the number of processors per client: 1
ROOT TESTS
----------
sshd service: [ OK ]
pbs_server service: [ OK ]
maui service: [ OK ]
/home mounted on 1 free nodes, need 1: [ OK ]
USER TESTS
----------
Checking PBS default queue definition: [ OK ]
but then it just sits there ... no idea what is wrong.
We have had problems with nfs as well. At the moment I am not sure why but
we only get anywahere when the mounted direcotry is /home on the manager -
must this be so? Can we not mount some other directory and if so what must
it contain?
The problem with PBS above - could that be due to user queues not being
configured properly?
I would appreciate any help on any of these problems. Any advice or
pointers on PBS would be greatly appreciated.
