We did this on one of our clusters at the NCSA. However, this was not done through oscar, required immense amounts of customization, and I doubt that the current oscar will support this. In future IA64 clusters here, we're keeping all administrative and compute nodes the same architecture, to keep things simpler and to save on people costs.
