Thanks Jeremy for responding,
The real problem was that the nodes' basename had
underscore ('_') character in it. If the 'nodes' file
contains the node name with '_' character, it will not
start (Invalid character token error). I didn't see
any document specifying this restriction. Since the
usage of '_' character is so common, I guess there
should be some mention about this. Correct me if I
have totally misunderstood or if this is mentioned in
some document.
