I've been searching for an up-to-date version of a distributed make extension. dmake and pmake (and wmake) et.al. either don't seem to fit right or are no longer supported.
Does anyone know of a project with a C3 Tools slant (perhaps a "cmake") that can distribute make across an OSCAR cluster (with dependencies)? Daily builds of a package that we're working on takes 5.5 hours even with -j tweaks. Most (but not all) of the builds have a high degree of granularity (package independence). A parallel/distributed version would greatly speed up the process. ADVthanksANCE Paul Gray -o) 323 Wright Hall /\\ University of Northern Iowa _\_V Message void if penguin violated ...
