I have installed a 8 node Oscar Cluster version 1.4 on My red hat 7.2 machine. I
would like
to psot some questions regarding these. hope some one can help me.. :-)
1) Is it possible to add another 8 machines in which i am having an already running
Windows 98 and XP ( in some). Can i have a dual boot system through which if
required,
i can boot in to linux and then add these clients to the cluster ? using the
install_cluster
script i was wondering if i could make it not to format the entire harddisk, but only
the required
partitions and configure lilo according to it...
2) I have heard that LS_DYNA will work work in the OSCAR. I am looking forward to see
some more popular packages in modelling. Is there any list of supported application
software
other than this ? Some body can suggest a list ?
3) is COBOL and CAD having any parallel version, which i can use on top of OSCAR?
