Hi all, as mentioned i have created the user a/c on a cluster head node with 'useradd' ,set password for the user and did a sync_users (being root). after that i am not able to logon to slave nodes with user name while loging on to the headnode works fine. notably the slavenodes dont have homedir for the user created as on the headnode.
