But the thing is that by now I'm having a bunch of troubles with our installation of Oscar. In fact, the installation went pretty well once we got used to the procedure. But when we came to the testing phase, the troubles started to show!
Especfically, the test that failed were these:
from the PBS default queue definition, all forward.
The point is that we couldn't find any logs that allowed us to track the errors. Earlier this afternoon, only the PBS HDF5, MPICH and LAM tests were failing.
Also, a maybe silly question: is it normal that in /var/spool/pvm/server_priv/nodes there's only three nodes listed, but not the server?:
oscarnode1.oscardomain ALL oscarnode2.oscardomain ALL oscarnode3.oscardomain ALL
Our setup: a server and three nodes, all the same (Pentium Celeron 1.7 GHz, 256MB RAM, ABIT BG7m MoBo, on board LAN, soud and video), but with a 60 GB HDD in the server and only 20 GB in the nodes.
Oscar-2.2.1 running, RedHat 7.3-based installation, no updates at all. 10-100 switch and LAN cards.
If there's anything else you need to know, just ask, and I'll answer.
Thanks in advance,
