hi I installed Oscar 2.3 on RH9. It installed without any trouble. Our network doesn't have DCPH server and uses fixed IP addresses. I made the custom boot floppy for the nodes using custom configration file for mkbootdiskette command. Now the nodes have installed properly and then i click "Complete cluster setup" <step 7> it finishes with a success message. ============================================= /opt/oscar/oscarinstall.log attatched ============================================= But while when i do "test clusters setup" <step 8> following errors are returned. ============================================= Performing root tests... /opt/pbs/bin/pbsnodes: Server has no node list /opt/pbs/bin/pbsnodes: Server has no node list PBS node check Passed PBS service check:pbs_server Passed Maui service check:maui Passed /home mounts 1 nodes failed Failed
Preparing user tests... cp:cannot stat '/opt/oscar/packages/ganglia/testing/*': No such file or directory Performing user tests... SSH ping test Failed SSH server->node Failed SSH node->server Failed ***and the scriptcontinues with all test Failed**** ============================================= Can someone help me? Also is it possible for me to use the nodes as standard graphicaln workstations. Nodes which were installed run in text mode only.
