Folks,
        I've noticed a problem with OSCAR nodes after rebooting NTP does not
start up.  This is due to the fact that the post-install script only
starts NTP, but does not configure NTP to restart on reboot.

        The best way to fix this would be to add the statement:

/etc/chkconfig ntpd on

in the NTP post-install script.

        One other side-effect is that, since NTP is not set up as a startup, it
is not set up to shutdown either.  This means it does not save the time
on shutdown either.

        This was all seen with OSCAR 2.3 and RedHat 9.
