Does this happen when you are trying to load the image onto the nodes?What type of ethernet card is in the machine? Does it ever say:
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval <some number>?
or does it only say:
DHCPDISCOVER on lo to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval <some number>?
If you type "ifconfig" at the prompt on the failed client do you get an entry from ETH0, or only LO? I've had problems with SystemImager not loading the correct ethernet card driver. In fact, I'm having this same problem with a Broadcome Tigon3 Gigabit adapter.
