Just to be sure:

- did you run a *new* user shell after running this switcher statement?
Remember that switcher only affects *new* shells.  So you'll need to start
a new user shell in whatever way you prefer (a new window, login again,
etc.).

- what is the value of your LD_LIBRARY_PATH?

- what is the value of your PATH?
