If RedHat dropped off the face of the earth suddenly, OSCAR would not have far to go to accommodate a different rpm based distribution. We've actually had a background effort to support other distros at the same time since OSCAR began... which has lead to support of Mandrake, and we're not far from supporting SuSE. Nothing to worry about.
