[Oscar-users] mac address

I am trying to install Oscar 2.3 on top of RedHat 9.0. I get all the way to collecting mac addresses. There appears to be activity between the head node and the client node, but the head node does not get a mac address. I built a floppy disc and tried it in three different machines. Two of the machines had integrated fast Ethernet cards the other has a PCI Fast Ethernet card. I am convinced that it is something simple I have overlooked. Does anybody have any suggestions?
