Oh, one more thing - I was able to mount the initrd.img file using the -o loop mount option. The new filesystem is mounted as readonly and I cannot change anything. Is there some option I was missing when I issue that "mount" command?

I downloaded the latest driver from Adaptec, but don't know how to incorporate this into the boot floppy.
