I looked through the archives and found the mail you referred to. I 
realised that I was referring to the kernel used during booting and 
install.

I followed your reply on 2003-09-25 (very nice step-by-step explanation, 
thanks very much) and copied the modules into 
/usr/share/systemimager/boot/i386/standard/boel_binaries.tar.gz.

This worked fine after I fixed the partition table (my fault, from 
before).
