This looks like a HD issue, what sort of hardware are you using?

Cheers,

On one of my other clients, I get the following errors when I try to install it
by booting to the autoinstall diskette:

end_request: I/O error, dev 03:00 (hda), sector 4999676
hda: read_intr: status=0x59 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest Error }
hda: read_intr: error=0x40 { UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=4999678, sector 4999678

The are a lot of these some with differnt numbers. Actually, it's pretty much
the same error again and again with numbers 499967[2468].

The last message that appears is:

This filesystem will be automatically checked every 32 mounts or 180 days,
whichever comes first. Use tune 2fs -c or -i to override.
mkdir -p /a/boot || shellout

end_request: I/O error, dev 03:06 (hda), sector 524296
EXT2-fs error (device ide0(3,6)): read_inode_bitmap: Cannot read inode bitmap -
mkdir: Cannot create directory `/a/boot': I/O error

I'm going to try it again with a different hard drive. Let me know if you have any ideas. Could this be causing the error on the other clients, by any chance?

Thanks,

Danny
