Thanks for your reply. I copied the kernel and .img file over
to tftpboot and it can boot, but it fails with a kernel panic when it can
not mount a fs. I might take the easy route and use the supported NICs. I
did wonder if Windows screwed the files whilst I downloaded as the sizes
look a little different. I've had trouble in the past with Windows changing
tgz to gz and fouling scripts. Perhaps you could tar up the files and send
me?
wget should get them to you safely. Just copy/paste the urls.
I've a clue now about the test failures. I noted that there was a failure to write to fstab during the install. Maybe the mounts don't happen because they are not written to fstab?
During the image build, this is a normal error... it shouldn't cause any problem. Many times with GigE, Linux assumes the network is up before the negotiation with the switch is complete... which then causes the NFS mount to fail. Just try remounting them all.
