I have 2 nodes in an 11 node cluster that always show as down on a pbsnodes -a. I seem to have hit a wall as to what may be causing this. Can anyone tell me what the sequence of events are that happen when a pbsnodes -a is issued? For example, is it something like this.
pbsnodes -a calls pbs_server which call pbs_mom on nodes which queries some log file and returns status.
Any help would be appreciated, so I can rack down the cause.
