I have had similar problems, what kind of network cards are you using and what error message comes up on the node when the process fails? Is TFTP timing out or is it failing at some other point in the process? Are you booting the nodes using DHCP or a boot disk?
The short story is that some network cards seem to support the DHCP part of the boot process but not know how to deal with the TFTP bit. If the boot disk that OSCAR makes works with your network cards you may want to try that over DHCP if that doesn't work the first time. If both DHCP and the boot disk aren't working then it gets a bit more complicated. Original Message ----------------------- I'm upgrading a 16 nodes cluster to oscar-3.0 using RH9.0 and the nodes will not pull the image for the server. Having no problem pulling the MAC only the image. Here is the log file. Can someone please look at the log file and give me some idea's on how to solve the problem. I use the start_over file a couple of times and still have the same problem. (See attached file: oscarinstall.log) Thanks!! Jerry D.
