Oscar seems very impressive. I am trying to determine if it
is usable for my application and i was wondering if anyone
here could help.

It is an embedded system. Most likely headless. There would
be a primary server with a disk and a secondary with a disk
that would need to be synced. No separate RAID.

My primary concern is that the nodes are not used for compuation.
They have sensors with node specific configurations. A pool
of backup nodes would be available that could take over
the same duties by just being told which configuation to use.

I imagine telecom systems are the same as they may have
many cards each card connected to a particular
line (oc3, ethernet, etc), so each node in the cluster isn't
identical.

Can oscar handle this kind of configuration?

thanx
