Whoops DepMan was called, and called another perl routine UpdateRPMs.pm. I added 'tao-linux' to the DISTROFILES perl variable and was able to grind ahead to the next error: 'DepMan: update-rpms failed: at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/OSCAR/DepMan.pm line 312.' Anyway I had a couple of days to get this to work, but it looks like there are too many places where it breaks so I'll go back to a given distro. (Unless you got ideas ;-).
