Hello OSCAR friends.
The Scientific Clustering Applications Workshop 2004 will take place
from the 6th to the 8th of December, 2004 at IBM in the Waterfront, Cape

Interested participants are hereby invited to submit presentations on work including, but not restricted to :
Specific current scientific clustering applications Future cluster computing facilities Clustering methodologies Practical considerations of clustering, including backups, upgrades and fault-tolerance. Distributed filesystems and parallel I/O Securing open scientific facilities Scaling behaviour of computational algorithms on clusters Administration, configuration and monitoring software for distributed computing environments Clustering clusters to form grids of services Benchmarking
In the community spirit of the workshop, participants are strongly encouraged to make a presentation, describing in detail their clustering experience, or future plans.
OpenOffice (including StarOffice), html (or other plain text), PDF or postscript versions of the presentation and a separate text file with title and abstract, should be submitted to the organisers: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The deadline for abstract submissions is the 17th of November. Successful submissions will be notified on the 21st of November.
