Hi, here it goes:

1. I would like to disable pfilter/iptables, pbs_server, what I did is to chkconfig off both, then service stop both, also made changes in image, is this ok? If I do "Complete Cluster Setup" step later as suggested by "User's guide", will it bring them back, anywhere else to turn them off?

2. To maintain the client softwares, can I modify one client, then run "prepareclient" on that client, then run "getimage [same image name]" on the head node to update the image, and can I run "getimage [different image name]", will the new image show in OSCAR installer for me to "complete cluster setup"?

3. I had this weird problem, when I setup the cluster, all clients network booted and pulled image off the head node fine, and then booted off the hard disk fine, then I made some changes (add and configured NIS and autofs, disable the iptables/pfilter), then rebooted, this time the network was gone, it couldn't find eth0 interface, ifconfig only showed loopback interface, then I found out there was no /etc/module.conf file, so the 3c59x module was not loaded, is this strange, or just me?

4. On all of my clients, the "xfs" process taking 100% CPU time, anyone has any idea? I am looking into it now.

Best regards.

Chen
