Hi Susanne:

Sounds like your RPM db is corrupted, perhaps try rebuilding it:

% rpm --rebuilddb

Also, this post might be interesting:

(I hope you don't have segfault!)

Cheers,

> Subject: [Oscar-users] oscar 4.0 installation and start_over failure
>
> Hi everyone,
> I tried to install oscar 4.0 on Fedora Core 2. The
> ./install_cluster kept giving me the following message:
>
> error: rpmdbNextIterator: skipping h# 46 Header V3 DSA signature:
> BAD, key ID 4f2a6fd2
>
> It could not be stopped and I killed the processes.
> Afterwards I wanted to run the start_over script. But this
> hung with this message:
>
> warning: waiting for transaction lock
>
> I rebooted the computer and tried to run the start_over
> script again and now I get:
>
> error: rpmdbNextIterator: skipping h# 46 Header V3 DSA signature:
> BAD, key ID 4f2a6fd2
>
> Any suggestion how to get rid of this mess?
