Before to remove all my installation, i try to get and put in /tftpboot/rpm this package ftp://ftp.rediris.es/sites2/fedora.redhat.com/2/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/tftp-0.33-3.i386.rpm
and now STEP 4 is successfull.
Perhaps this package is a prerequisite ???
I suggest to mention this in the FEDORA CORE 2 pre-install Notes, do you think ?
Tell you soon maybe about trouble :)

I'd try to run the start_over script in /opt/oscar/scripts and try again...
You could possibly remove all the tftp RPMs from /tftpboot/rpm besides the oscar tftp RPM.
Here's what my headnode looks like on FC2:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] RPMS]# rpm -qa | grep tftp
tftp-hpa-0.21-1oscar
Trying a minimal workstation installation should work too.

Hello,
We have installed Fedora Core 2 i386 on our cluster and now we are ready to install OSCAR.
Step 1 to 4 were ok, but we have trouble with image creation.
Installer complains about tftp (missing rpm ?):
