It should be okay to do a force upgrade - that's what I did when I tried
3.5.2.

This is interesting...  can you check which modprobe version you are
using?  Also, can you do a listing of the /lib/modules directory?

I suggest you post this issue to the sisuite-devel mailing-list, those
guys should have some idea about what's going on...
