Hi Susanne: OSCAR currently has issues generating a 'good' modprobe.conf.
One way to deal with hardware with different modules is to build different images for each of them. You can then place a correct modprobe.conf in each image directory. To get the correct modprobe.conf, boot the node off FC2 disc1, go to rescue mode and grab /tmp/modprobe.conf.
