hey guys, i had a first attempt @ clustering yesterday -
svn updated a friend's apparently clean copy of oscar
and followed the instructions on a fresh fedora 3
install. after a failed first time i did this:
cd $OSCAR_HOME/packages/switcher/distro
cp -R fedora2 fedora3
tho i don't know how advisable that is. also a
"touch /etc/gmetad.conf" helped since the installer
couldn't open the file (though afterwards it's still
empty)
so second time round, the 1st hangup is at the select packages stage:
--> Running in directory: /opt/oscar
--> PATH:
/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin
--> Running: "./oscar_wizard"

& since i didn't really need to select packages i went on but buildimage gives:

anyone have any ideas?
i've attached the full install log @ http://lordcow.org/oscarinstall.log
also oscar-4.0.tar.gz just finished downloading so i tried with that
(as before, running the start_over script, logging out, removing /opt/oscar)
but get a good old Error 1 on the first make install step. is this caus i've
messed the system up already? put the log @ http://lordcow.org/make_install.log
thanx
