Then how about I install on one disk, after that installation I manually set the RAID1 mirror. Has anybody successfully done this before?

I am setting up Oscar4.0 on Fedora2 systems. I have installed the oscar server and now is time to build the client image. For all the nodes
dual 120G SATA disks, and I want to set the disks as software RAID1,and
using LVM to manage the partitions. Is it possible to do it all?
Not easily. SATA and LVM are the two primary issues.
The next version of SystemImager, a critical components w.r.t. the features you want, looks like it will support SATA and LVM for images. Once that is completed, OSCAR can support that too.
