we have successfully installed oscar on 2 computers i.e one server and other client.
but the problem is that when we run MPI programs its making use of only server .

lamboot command worked fine ,but lamboot -v lamhost (where lamhost is the file containing the IP addresses of the Client and server)

I think you forgot to complete this sentence...? If you "lamboot" with no arguments, it only includes the localhost. If you're having some problem with "lamboot -v lamhost", you'll need to provide a few more details about the problem that you're having. For example, please send the output of "lamboot -d lamhost" (notice the -d, not -v) and the output from the laminfo command.

when we run

$mpirun n0-1 a.out

it gives error "mpirun:cannot start a.out on n1:invalid node".

You might want to look at the LAM/MPI User's Guide and/or the FAQ on the LAM/MPI web site (http://www.lam-mpi.org/using/docs/ and http://www.lam-mpi.org/faq/, respectively).
