Oscar 4.0 will not work on an x86_64 operating system without
significant alterations.  If you install the regular 32 bit operating
system it should work fine.  I am currently using Fedora Core 2 (i386)
and it works quite well.

The development group is trying to get Oscar 4.1 ready for release,
but we will be working on x86_64 support after that.  If you want to
help out, feel free to join the oscar-devel list.
