Hi Susanne: You mentioned that you have a 'golden client'. As far as I know OSCAR builds the 'golden client' (the image created during Step4) using SystemInstaller, it is therefore not necessary to build one manually.
Perhaps you can give me some more info about this golden client. Also, when you said you looked at /etc/sysconfig/network, was this in the image? i.e. /var/lib/systemimager/images/oscarimage/etc/sysconfig/network, or is this from some node?
