The Open Cluster Group is pleased to announce the release of OSCAR 4.1.

The following are hightlights from this release:

+ Full support for Mandrakelinux (Mandriva Linux) 10.0 running on
        IA32 processors.

+ A Streamlined install process for OSCAR on Red Hat Enterprise
        Linux 3.

+ The OSCAR testing framework has been extended to make use of the
APITest tool for more thorough post installation testing.

+ RPM dependency resolution and installation are now handled for
both the server and the client image by DepMan and PackMan.
These
tools greatly reduce the effort needed by OSCAR package authors
to
install software on an OSCAR built system.

The OSCAR Team would also like to take this opportunity to invite all
OSCAR users to register their cluster built using the OSCAR Toolkit.
The direct link to register your cluster is

Thanks for your support!

Cheers,

Bernard
