Hi Chris:

I am also wondering if was possible to install oscar with one the many
RHEL3 clones such as TAO linux or whitebox linux?

Currently the answer is no. We just had a meeting today where we discussed ways of making it easier for OSCAR to support other distributions. Clones of RHEL are definitely easier to support, and if you are interested in helping out, please ping us at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks,

Bernard

Take a look at Scientific Linux <http://scientificlinux.org> based on RHEL sources, it was designed with hi-perf clusters in mind & it may be possible to to share some rpms with oscar. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
