Hi Benard,

I installed the redhat-release rebuilt RPM, and it made it past the last issue,
now i have come across another. This is the output from oscarinstall.log:

Running prereq setup script oda (in order)
--> Checking to see if we need to install ODA RPMs
--> Copying oda-1.30-6.noarch.rpm to /tftpboot/rpm

--> Installing ODA RPMs mysql perl-DBD-MySQL perl-DBI perl-CGI mysql-server oda
DepMan: update-rpms failed to select the following packages:
 perl-CGI

ERROR: Prerequisite failure! at ./wizard_prep line 93
Oscar Wizard preparation script failed to complete at ./install_cluster line
215.

Any ideas?

Hi John:

I won't say 'official support' but I can safely say that CentOS 4.1 will work
with our next release. Please read the following thread about the latest
development in supporting CentOS:

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=12371564

We could use some help with testing on CentOS and other RHEL clones, please let
us know if you have some spare cycles.

P.S. Our nightly tarball (link in our webpage) should support CentOS 4.1 if you
perform the steps I have outlined in the thread.

Cheers,

Bernard

I'm just setting up my first cluster and I'm using Fedora Core 2 for testing
but is there a timetable for compatibility for CentOS 4.1? Thanks.
