Hi,
in last weeks I experimented the following problem. I installed OSCAR 4.1
one month ago (I have a 16-processors linux cluster with Fedora Core 3) and
all nodes worked fine, until some week ago I rebboted a lot of times some
nodes (to update some parameters file). Some of the nodes did no more
respond, I checked on the screen and I discovered that they halted during
the boot process at the "NFS filesystem mounting" line. It waits
continuosly something (I guess) from the nfs_server (so the master node),
but I don't know what. I dicovered that if I reboot a working node it does
exactly the same thing, so I guess the problem is in the NFS server on the
master node. How I coul check if what's wrong there? Which files I have to
check?
Thank you
Lorenzo Campo
