Title: RE: [Oscar-users] Default network interface on compute nodes

Hi, Bernard

Sure.  I'll give it a shot and let you know if I come up with anything.

Subject: RE: [Oscar-users] Default network interface on compute nodes

Hi Doug:

Currently we do not support this functionality, please see the following
RFE:

https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=791658&group_i
d=9368&atid=359368

The easiest way is probably to edit the autoinstall script and replace
eth0 with eth1.

Are you interested in taking this task on to see if you can implement
something for 5.0?

Currently there is a configuration option for the Ganglia package to
choose the default interface for the compute nodes, but I think this
should be taken care of centrally by the OSCAR installer.

Thanks,

Bernard
