Title: [Oscar-users] Ganglia Error During Cluster Test
Any ideas why your hosts are marked "dead"?  Is "gmond" running on the nodes?  What hardware/OS are you running?

Cheers,

Subject: [Oscar-users] Ganglia Error During Cluster Test

Hi everyone,

I have set up a 3 node + server setup I'm trying to run some tests on.  I have
gotten through all the steps without any problems.  However, when I run the
cluster test, everything but Ganglia seems to pass.  Has anyone encountered
this problem and have any advice on how to fix it?

I've included a screenshot of the error and the text of the error file is
below:

Client nodes: oscarnode1.cluster oscarnode2.cluster oscarnode3.cluster
Match pattern: head.cluster|
Number of hosts matched: 1
Gstat output:
CLUSTER INFORMATION
       Name: OSCAR Cluster
      Hosts: 0
Gexec Hosts: 0
 Dead Hosts: 3
  Localtime: Mon Feb 13 10:24:32 2006

There are no hosts up at this time

The number of nodes expected is different from the number of nodes detected.
Check to see if gmond is running on all your nodes and make sure that you
are not having any network issues.
