Hi Jerome: Thanks for the report. See my replies below:
> 1 - STEP 3 (OSCAR server packages) Failed dependancies > (Fedora core 3 > dependant ?) Did you run yum update before you finish your OSCAR installation? This causes mismatch between the installed RPMs and the RPMs available in your /tftpboot/rpm (repository). Anyways I'm glad you figure out the problem. > 2 - STEP 3 (OSCAR server packages) Eth0 not UP (not oscar > dependant) > 3 - STEP 4 (Build OSCAR client image) Forced packages for > i686/i386 failed > (some dependancies are UNKNOW) We noticed the same issue on RHEL3u6, see: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1449837&group_i d=9368&atid=109368 update-rpms should be replaced by yum in OSCAR 5.0 so hopefully this problem will be resolved. > 4 - STEP 6 (CLIENT Installation) Rsync hang > (pfilter must be > off before network deployment) This can also be resolved by updating your kernel to the latest version.
