Subject: [Oscar-users] Fedora Core 5 newbie questions
I'm a bit of a cluster newbie, although I've programmed with MPI
and used our cluster at work.
I'm installing a small personal cluster --
my hardware is quite new and I had problems with earlier versions of Fedora, so
am using FC 5 and the beta of Oscar 5.0, per a previous post.
I've
started the procedures for FC 5, but have run into some early snags.
*
the .pdf doc files mentioned in the README don't exist, so I can't get the
latest instructions
* the README in the doc folder mentions running the
configure, but there is no configure script
* I read somewhere about a
procedure for using:
> and then use the 'autogen.sh' to creat the
configure and the required
> Makefile.* etc.
but I don't have
such a script
Just a comment: it is fairly non-standard to have a system
without a configure, isn't it? Or at least a ready way of creating
it?
Thanks for any tips!
BTW, any additional FC5/Oscar 5.0 tips
welcome!!!

Intel GLan controller (mobo)
