If you take a look at the oscarsamples/ directory, there is a sample software raid disk file called "swraid1-scsi.disk" - perhaps that would help.  It's also available here in our code repository:

Anyways I know for a fact that LVM support has recently been revamped in SystemImager 3.7.3 (the underlying imaging system which OSCAR uses to deploy cluster nodes) and that version will be included in OSCAR 5.0 (due out "soon").  Perhaps you can wait for that.

Cheers,

Bernard

Subject: [Oscar-users] Does Oscar support Logical Volume Manager?

I plan to install CentOs 4.3 on our cluster using Oscar 4.2 and I could not find any thing about LVM in the doc of Oscar.
Is it supported? If yes,  what would be the disk partitionning file I have to give Oscar when building the client image?
