I managed to install Oscar 4.2 on top of FC3 that is I got to the wizard.
While going thought the steps I dont seem to be able to rebuild client image
once I have done so unless I rename the image name, so that was ok I went
with a different name and later in the network setup I wanted to give start
the IP address start from 192.168.0.11 and it came up with another error I
went ahead and assigned MAC address to them and continued with the PXE
installation the nodes all booted and started the installation but fails
with an error message. Please advice

Is there enough space in the partition containing /var?  Is the
directory  /var/lib/systemimager/images/oscarimage/var/lock/rpm/
there?  The only thing I can think of is that it looks like the script
doesn't have permision to write to that directory, or just can't for
some reason...

Is this a install on a new 4.4 install or was this machine upgraded
from 4.2?  I have in the past had no end of trouble with upgrading any
linux system.  I am told this is a personal problem :)

I am new to this myself, but it may be a good idea to have  a look see
if pfilter is on anywhere... that was that was the cause for a problem I
had that was little bit similar.

We would need an install log of some kind, preferably zipped, in order
to be much help.

Also, what is the exact error message given when you try and assign
the higher IP range?

I believe both of those functions you mentioned should work with 4.2,
at least in theory.
