You need to reinstall mpich and/or lam/mpi on the SIS image so that when you make new nodes they will have the right compilers on them. You may also need to update switcher to point to the correct mpi versions if you use that tool.
If you are rebuilding the OSCAR package and are using OSCAR 4.2, I think you can use the add/remove package tool to do all of these things behind the scenes. It is possible that more recent versions of OSCAR have f90 support (since I know f77 is being phased out), does anyone know if this is the case?
