Hello Pen, how did your hardware.lst file look like?
Did you try booting one of the client nodes into a rescue system (from the RHEL4 CD)? If you do that, please have a look at the /etc/modprobe.conf file which was generated by systemconfigurator. Does it contain the mptsas module? You could also simply copy the /etc/modprobe.conf which you attached to your email into the image. systemconfigurator is just editing that file based on the hardware it detects.
