Hi Phillip, from your later posts I guess that you were trying an Itanium install? If so, you already found out that it is not supported. We asked for help for rebuilding the RPMs but nobody showed up...
OSCAR::Configbox loading should work as long as $OSCAR_HOME/lib/OSCAR/Configbox.pm is there, but for Itanium this could fail due to missing dependencies. The database error > ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'oscar'@'localhost' (using > password: YES) usually happens after an unclean restart of an installation. This means that the database access rights from a previous attempt might have survived in the mysql database... To my knowledge scripts/start_over (which cleans out an old installation, more or less) should take care of this.
