Hi All, just wanted to let you know why I was having ramdom problems with the wizard, including building a new image.
Problme was I was NOT in the /opt/oscar/scrips directory when I was running the scripts. Apparently mostly of the scripts are referred as "./<script name>". As soon as I realized this and started the oscar wizard from the scripts directory I had no problems at all!! Thank you Best regards Davide ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Fri, 2 Feb 2007 15:05:54 -0800 (PST) From: Davide <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Subject: Client image doesn't build Hi All, I have installed succesfully Fedora Core 5, and latest Oscar 5. Everything works and oscar tests are all OK. Users did some testing on their calculations and I needed to install a few more packages on the client and server (mainly compilers and libraries). So I added the packages to /opt/oscar/oscarsample/*rpmlist, made some changed to the ide.disk and tried to build a new image from the oscar wizard. The image build fails and this is the output I get: --------------------------------- Executing command: mksiimage -A --name fedora5-2 --location /tftpboot/oscar/common-rpms,/tftpboot/oscar/fc-5-i386 ,/tftpboot/distro/fedora-5-i386 --filename /opt/oscar/oscarsamples/fc-5-i386.rpmlist --arch i686 --path /var/lib/ systemimager/images/fedora5-2 --filename=/tmp/oscar-install-rpmlist.3643 Image build finished.
