Hi Michael,

Yes, everything imaged correctly when I replaced those files (and
changed the action to "install" from "localboot", thanks for that too.)

However, I now have the eth0/eth1 2.6 kernel/Dell issue now; that is,
the node was imaged using one interface (and that's the MAC address
that's stored in the OSCAR config)--however, it's actually the other
(Dell2 = eth0) one that's actively mapped to eth0.

I can't ping between the machines even after switching the cables--
presumably this is because things haven't been configured yet (as I
recall on previous OSCAR installs, until you run "setup cluster" the
machines can't really talk to each other yet.)

What is your suggested fix?

Idea 1:

a) recable all Dellport1s to DellPort2s
b) regather MAC addresses for DellPort2 instead of DellPort1
c) reimage using eth0=DellPort2 (can you PXE boot off of Dellport2?
or will it default to DellPort1?)
d) continue as usual

Idea 2:

Try and run that name_eths file as a post-install script?

Other thoughts?

(I've already got it swapped around on my head node so that I'm
installing on eth1=DellPort1 and eth0=DellPort2 is connected to the
outside world)
