I resolved this issue by disabeling my firewall:

as a root type
system-config-securitylevle

then make sure firewall is disabled

This fixed it for me.

I was following th install guide and I DID disable Selinux, but I either
didn't read the part that said not to enable firewall or it didn't say it..

Either way, hope this helps.
