Hello OSCAR users!
Im with Assignment Zero, and we are working on a cover story for Wired
magazine, written by Jeff Howe, who in an article last spring coined the
term "crowdsourcing."
We're interested in what you're doing on your site, because the
Wired article is exploring the whole landscape of open source, wiki, and
crowdsourced projects, everything from open source computer programming to
scientific R&D departments that are putting out open calls on the internet
for people to come up with solutions.
We are gathering information from those using open source, and we would love
to have your input. We have a short, painless survey. If you participate and
your responses to the survey are particularly interesting the editor may
want to talk to you, and (with your permission of course) you may be quoted
in the Wired article.
We need as many people who are involved in any sort of user-generated, open
source, and other web stuff! I promise, it's painless and again, there is
the chance at mucho publicity in Wired if someone takes the time to give
really thoughtful answers....
